About Zachary Allen Fogleman

Zachary is working with Coastal Climate and Resilience specialist Amanda Guthrie, Ph.D., on developing a Coastal Resilience Community of Practice in South Carolina. This community of practice will foster and strengthen relationships of coastal communities, resilience practitioners, and coastal researchers. Ultimately, it will help coastal communities be more adaptive and resilient to coastal hazards, including sea-level rise, coastal flooding, and a changing climate.

Zachary currently is a MES graduate student and MPA graduate student at the College of Charleston. He has a B.S. in finance with a minor in environmental studies from the College of Charleston. Zachary’s research interests include habitat preservation and restoration, public transportation accessibility, and community resilience. Prior to joining the Consortium, he worked as an insurance adjuster in South Carolina and a CAT adjuster in the Southeast.
