About Susan Ferris Hill
Susan manages the Consortium’s communications and education staff, product development, and public and media relations. In addition, she coordinates the coastal sites of the annual S.C. Beach Sweep/River Sweep litter cleanup program. Susan joined the Consortium in 2001 as a public information specialist and has served in her current role since 2005.
Susan earned a B.A. in journalism with an emphasis on advertising and public relations from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to joining the Consortium, she was a public relations director, media buyer, and copywriter for an advertising agency in Middleton, WI.
