Low Impact Development Projects in South Carolina

Welcome to the South Carolina Low Impact Development Atlas. This interactive map displays current low impact development (LID) projects statewide.

The goal of the atlas is to showcase LID projects so that they can serve as models for communities trying to address stormwater- and growth-related issues.

How to Use the Atlas

To use the map tool, click on the color-coded pins to indicate project type and location, as well as additional information about the site and LID practice. You can also search for a specific type of LID project by using the ‘filter’ tool and the drop down menu.

Both private and public entries are included, but privacy is observed for residential sites.
