Request for Proposals for FY20-21

The S.C. Sea Grant Consortium FY20-21 Request for Proposals (RFP) is now available.

The Consortium’s FY20-21 Sea Grant Omnibus RFP consists of an overview, five sections, and three appendices. Prospective PIs are strongly encouraged to read through all sections before preparing materials for submission.

Timetable for Proposal Submission

The Sea Grant project year will begin February 1, 2020.

Ocean and Coastal Research and Outreach Priorities

Section I provides a listing of the Consortium’s priority needs for this biennium. Studies involving multi-disciplinary approaches with state/regional/national significance are especially desired. Proposals will be expected to address specific RFP priorities identified under the following major themes:

  • Healthy Coastal Ecosystems
  • Sustainable Coastal Development and Economy
  • Weather and Climate Resilience
  • Sustainable Fisheries and Aquaculture
  • Scientific Literacy and Workforce Development

Those interested in submitting a Concept Letter are strongly encouraged to view the Consortium 2018-2021 Strategic Plan. Concept letters will not be accepted after due date.
