The Consortium is now accepting registrations for its inaugural Research Symposium, set for May 11-12, 2022 in Charleston. The registration deadline is April 20.
The symposium theme is “Science + Inclusion = Solutions” and all members of the coastal science community are welcome, including researchers, graduate students, decisionmakers, and community stakeholders who benefit from applied research.
Participants will share impacts derived from Consortium-sponsored research, build networks to address emerging issues in coastal science and management, and receive training on how to enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion in research and community relations. The keynote speaker is Claudia Benitez-Nelson, associate dean for Instruction, Community Engagement, and Research at the University of South Carolina.
