About Morgan Treon

Morgan helps foster connections to the environment through teacher training workshops and programs, including From Seeds to Shoreline®, the BioDiscovery Project, and Educator Science Cafés. She also assists with preparing, delivering, and evaluating marine science-related programs and community-science education efforts throughout the state.

Morgan earned a M.A.T. in secondary science education and a B.A. in earth science from James Madison University. Before joining the Consortium, she was the lead education aide for the Charleston County Park and Recreation Commission, where she taught place-based cultural and natural history educational programs.
