Scholars conduct a research project with a faculty member during the school year and have the option to complete a related community-based internship the following summer.
Community Engaged Internships
This is a paid summer internship that provides opportunities for undergraduate students to lead community-based projects that focus on environmental and resilience needs. The program is an excellent career development opportunity for students with an interest in marine science and coastal community engagement.
John A. Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship
This paid, one-year fellowship provides professional experience to graduate students who have an interest in ocean and coastal resources, and the national policy decisions affecting those resources. Fellows are matched with a host in the legislative or executive branch of government located in the Washington, D.C. area.
