Marine Education Specialist

Elle assists the S.C. Sea Grant Consortium’s Education Program by providing support for marine science and STEM education efforts, including the From Seeds to Shoreline® program, marine debris outreach, and educator professional development.

Elle earned her M.S. in Marine Biology from the College of Charleston (CofC). Elle has served as a teaching assistant for introductory biology, fish biology, and oceanography courses for undergraduates at CofC. While working on her B.S. in marine biology with a minor in environmental and sustainability studies from CofC, Elle completed a Research Experience for Undergraduates program where she studied the ecophysiology of native and invasive macroalgal species in Charleston, South Carolina.
