Deborah Peralez
Administrative Coordinator
Deborah provides direct administrative and coordination support to the Director for Development and Extension, Communications Manager, Education and Outreach Manager. In coordination with the Director for Administration and the Administration Manager, she coordinates the general administrative functions for the Consortium’s Extension, Communications and Education departments, including the performance of activities related to procurement and purchasing, management of the supply, auxiliary, and maintenance services for the office, and other support functions needed.
Deborah received her A.A. Degree in Charleston, S.C. from Trident Technical College. She began her civil service career in January 2023 with S.C. Department of Employment and Workforce within the Employment Services Division as a Workforce Specialist and Business Consultant, supporting the Trident Region (Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester Counties) where she connected local businesses with job seekers through state administered programs and services. Her first career spanned 17 years in customer service at Verizon where she held leadership roles as a Supervisor and Learning and Development Trainer.
