Environmental Educators Nearing Certification
The 2020-2022 Palmetto Environmental Education Certification (PEEC) cohort completed the third of four required training workshops of the two-year course.
Groundwater Monitoring on Kiawah Island
The S.C. Sea Grant Consortium collaborated to fund a study to assess fluctuations in the groundwater table, specifically monitoring changes in water-table depth and salinity concentrations.

Francis Marion University Becomes Newest Member of S.C. Sea Grant Consortium
Francis Marion University’s (FMU) membership application to the S.C. Sea Grant Consortium was unanimously approved by the Board of Directors at its annual meeting on November 29, 2021.
Consortium Board of Directors Elect Chair and Vice Chair
Clemson University Provost Dr. Robert H. Jones was elected chair of S.C. Sea Grant Consortium’s Board of Directors and S.C. Department of Natural Resources Director Robert H. Boyles, Jr. was elected vice-chair.
