The S.C. Sea Grant Consortium Board of Directors will hold a meeting from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Tuesday, December 9, 2025. The meeting will be held at MUSC, 22 Westedge Street, Charleston, S.C., 29403.
Members of the media and the public are invited to attend. Please register by Monday, December 9, at 9:00 am at www.scseagrant.org/bod-registration.
The agenda for the meeting is as follows: call to order and welcome, introductions, approval of previous meeting minutes, state-of-the-Consortium updates, selection of the next Board Vice Chair, review of the state budget request, review of the agency head performance plan, other items identified by the Board, and a closed executive session for personnel matters.
The Consortium’s Board of Directors is composed of the executive officers of its member institutions. Current board members are: Mr. Robert H. Boyles, Jr., director of S.C. Department of Natural Resources (retired) and Consortium Board Chair; Consortium Board Vice-Chair; Dr. Geoffrey I. Scott, Clinical Professor and Chair of the Department of Environmental Health Sciences at University of South Carolina; Dr. James P. Clements, president of Clemson University; Dr. James J. Winebrake, president of Coastal Carolina University; Dr. Luther F. Carter, president of Francis Marion University; Dr. David J. Cole, president of Medical University of South Carolina; General Glenn M. Walters, president of The Citadel; Dr. Andrew T. Hsu, president of College of Charleston; Dr. Thomas S. Mullikin, director of S.C. Department of Natural Resources; Colonel Alexander Conyers, president of South Carolina State University; and Dr. Michael Amiridis, president of University of South Carolina.
