About Angela Treptow

Angela works with community stakeholders to develop, coordinate, and implement the South Carolina Commercial Seafood Apprenticeship Program based out of McClellanville, S.C. The goal of the program is to develop a skilled workforce for the local commercial fishing and mariculture industries, while simultaneously preserving and transferring the knowledge and expertise of local commercial fishers and farmers.

Angela has a B.B.A. in marketing from Western Michigan University and an M.B.A. in international project management from the University of Applied Sciences Ingolstadt (Germany). Before joining the Consortium, Angela was a marketing director for Symplicity Communications and director of community education in Dalhart, TX. She also has spent many years working as an instructor for continuing education and workforce development at institutions such as Amarillo College, University of Northern British Columbia, and University of Lueneburg (Germany).
