How to Construct a Unit Portfolio

To complete your requirements for this COSEE-SE program, you are expected to plan, pilot, and submit a unit portfolio based upon your COSEE-SE experiences after you implement your unit in the classroom. Enclosed in this section, you will find documents to help you build your unit portfolio:

Ocean Literacy  Resources:

Ocean  Literacy Scope and Sequence, Conceptual Flow Diagrams (Excel 1.7mb)
 
Ocean  Literacy National Standards Correlation


Submission Guidelines:

  • Unit Organizer: To be turned in at the Workshop:  
  • Draft Unit Plan, Learning Style Planning Guide and Bloom’s Taxonomy Planning Framework due prior to your departure from
  • Coastal Legacy on June 29, 2007.
  • The final Unit Portfolio is due no later than April 15, 2008 to Elizabeth at the information below.  
  • NOTE:  In order to receive your stipend and recertification credit, you must submit your annotated Unit Portfolio after teaching the unit.
