SEACOOS

SEACOOS is a collaborative university partnership that collects, manages, and disseminates integrated regional ocean observations and information products for the coasts of North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. Funding for this effort has been provided by the Office of Naval Research. SEACOOS has partnered with COSEE-SE to develop the Virtual Waves Classroom and Poster. The "Making Waves" poster, lessons plans, and real time wave data can be accessed online at the SEACOOS website. While there, educators can also learn more about the properties of waves by accessing the wave glossary and other resources.
