Education
Research Interests Elizabeth Rogers Joyner serves as Curriculum Specialist for the COSEE-SE center where she works with the regional educational communities as she coordinates the Coastal Legacy and the SouthEast Portal to Ocean Research for Teachers (SEPORT) Programs. She enjoys developing on science curriculum, as well as working with scientists and teachers. In 2004 and 2005, Elizabeth set sail with a group of NOAA and regional scientists to collect data about our closest National Marine Sanctuary, Gray’s Reef. Elizabeth recently received her Masters of Arts in Teaching and is specifically interested in middle grades science instruction. She takes pleasure in integrating technologies, such as GIS, with standards-based education.
