The S.C. Sea Grant Consortium is preparing its FY18-20
Request for Proposals (RFP)


The Changing Face of South Carolina: Building a Resilient Future

The Sea Grant project year begins February 1, 2018.

Key dates are:

February 13, 2017 – Distribute RFP with Guidelines
March 17, 2017 – Concept Letters due at Consortium
June 19, 2017 – Full Proposals due at Consortium
June-September, 2017 – Proposal Review and Selection

Studies involving multi-disciplinary approaches with state/regional/national significance are especially desired.

Proposals are expected to address specific RFP priorities identified under the following major themes:

Healthy Coastal EcosystemsSustainable Coastal Development and Economy
Sustainable Fisheries and AquacultureWeather and Climate Resilience
Scientific Literacy and Workforce Development


The detailed RFP with program priorities and Guidelines for Concept Letters will be accessible on our website at www.scseagrant.org and e-mailed to our PI list on February 13, 2017. Those interested in submitting a concept letter are strongly encouraged to view the Consortium Strategic Plan, which will be posted by February 13 at www.scseagrant.org/SeaGrant. Concept letters will not be accepted after due date.
